go to recipezaar.com and type in chocolate chip cookies. they will give u a step by step recipe. Hope I Helped!!!
I dont think you pack in powdered sugar. You measure like flour. Stir the powdered sugar, scoop into measuring cup with a spoon, and level off with flat edge of knife. 1 1/2 cups is simply that. If you are asking whether or not you can substitute granulated with powdered sugar, I dont think so.

    115g/4oz butter at room temperature

    50g caster sugar

    110g dark brown sugar

    1 egg

    陆 teaspoon vanilla essence

    170g plain flour

陆 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda

    Pinch of salt

    8oz chocolate chips

In another bowl, mix the egg and vanilla, and then gradually beat into the butter mixture. Sift over the flour, bicarbonate of soda, and salt. Finally add in the chocolate chips and mix well to combine.

Place heaped teaspoonfuls of dough at least 5cms apart, as the mixture will spread out.

Bake until lightly coloured, which takes around 10-15 mins.

    Shortbread Cookie

    鈥?3/4 cup butter, softened

    鈥?1/4 cup sugar

    鈥?2 cups all purpose flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix butter and sugar in large bowl. Stir in flour. If dough is crumbly, mix in an additional 1 to 2 tablespoons of softened butter.

Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness and cut dough with cookie cutters into desired shapes. The dough can even be cut with a knife into wedges or strips for interesting designs. Bake about 20 minutes or until set. Remove from oven and transfer to a wire rack to cool.

I would recommend spreading Jam on top of it, too, for extra taste. Chocolate chips taste good in shortbread, too, if you have any=:)

The easiest way is to go to the supermarket and get a box or package that you just mix eggs and oil. We're making so many cookies here that I wanted to make something easy and this was definitely the easiest way and then we just cut them out with gingerbread man cookie cutters. Merry Christmas!
Because molasses isn't something that I usually keep around the house, I started using a gingerbread mix to make my cookies. Pillsbury makes an excellent mix. You can use it to make gingerbread cookies or cakes. Instructions for both are printed on the box.
