Good luck!I need an easy but good cookie recipe for a cookie exchange party.?
A very easy cookie would be a drop cookie with fruit and nuts. I highly recommend the Toll House Chocolate Chip recipe that you can find on any package of Nestle's Chocolate Chips (or just use the link below) and add chopped dried cherries, apricots, and dates, along with chopped pecans, walnuts, and almonds. Very tasty and very easy.

Or try the same basic recipe with a couple of cups of shredded coconut and chopped macadamia nuts.
Christmas Holly

1/4 cup butter or margarine

4 cups miniature marshmallows

5 cups cornflakes

Green food coloring

cooking oil

edible decorations

Melt the butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and heat unitl melted. Remove from heat and add cornflakes. Stir to coat cornflakes well. Add several drops of food coloring to make the mixture green like holly. Dip your fingers in cooking oil and form wreaths. Make them the size of little cookies. Put the wreaths on wax paper to cool. Decorate with cinnamon drops, silver cake decorations or whatever you like.
No bake chocolate peanut butter cookies

2 cups sugar

1/2 cup milk

4 T. cocoa

3/4 stick butter

1 tsp. vanilla extract

Boil 1 minute.

Add:

1/2 cup peanut butter - I use chunky peanut butter

3 cups oatmeal

Drop by spoonfuls on wax paper.

Cool and store in air tight container in the fridge.

It is fast and easy to make and taste great.

Enjoy

That recipe is my fave!! I make it all the time...you can use chocolate chips, if you like...ive never made it with the pecans. It's really simple and quick, and everyone always loves them....if you make them, when you take them out of the oven they will seem undercooked...but they harden up a lot, so beware and dont overcook, lol
