Preferrably something my 5 year old can bake.He loves choc. chip cookies but I dont have half the things they need, He is tired of cooking scottish shortbread and Grama's sugar cookies(so am I !!!)I need cookie recipes-quick and easy!!!?
Get a tube of marzipan and make macaroons, the recipe is on the box and it is 2 ingredients, egg white and the marzipan, maybe some sugar too.

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Cream together butter, shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar, the eggs and the vanilla. Blend in the flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Shape dough by rounded spoonfuls into balls.
Mix the 2 tablespoons sugar and the cinnamon. Roll balls of dough in mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until set but not too hard. Remove immediately from baking sheets.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies EVER!! (Never fail!!)
INGREDIENTS
2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla or chocolate pudding mix
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift together the flour and baking soda, set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown.
These are always super-soft, super-easy, and super-good!! (The recipe is supposed to be a secret.....)
Peanut butter cookies
1 cup reduced fat peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 egg
1. Mix ingredients thoroughly.
2. Put small balls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet.
3. Use fork tines to make criss-cross marks in each ball and flatten.
4. Cook at 350 degrees until brown (about 10-to-15 minutes). Cooking time varies in each oven.
Applesauce Granola cookies
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. maple extract
1 egg
1/2 cup applesauce
2 cups flour
2 cups granola
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
PREPARATION:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In large bowl, combine brown sugar, butter, vanilla, maple extract, and egg and mix until well blended. Add applesauce and blend well. Stir in flour, granola, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon and mix well.
Drop by tablespoons onto cookie sheets, about 2'; apart. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until cookies spring back when lightly touched in center. Cool 2 minutes, then remove from cookie sheets. 42 cookies
try to make double chocolate chip bisctottis but don make them hard, they turn out divine here's the recipe!!!!!!!!!
My homemade double chocolate chip Biscottis
2 cups all purpose flour
half cup unsweetened cocoa powder (or hot choc0 mix)
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
6 tbsp of butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups of chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
butter and flour a large baking sheet
in a bowl whisk together flour. cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt
in another bowl use an electric mixer to beat together butter,and sugar till light and fluffy
add eggs and beat until well combines
stir in flour mixture to form a stiff dough
stir in chocolate chips
on prepared baking sheet an d with floured hands from dough into 2 lightly flattened logs each 1 foot or 12 inches long and 2 inches wide
bake logs for 30 min or until lightly firm to the touch
transfer logs to a cutting board
cut logs diagonally in three fourth inch slices
arrange biscotti, cut sides down on a baking sheet and Bake until crisp about 10 min
cool them AND ENJOY
