Do you guys have any good and easy christmas cookie recipes?

Snickerdoodles

Prep time: 45 minutes

bake time: 8-10 minutes per batch

yield: 4 dozen

If you can't make this, you're an idiot. Tell your family to bind you in strong iron chains for fear that you may step out into traffic at any moment.

Cookies:

2.75 cups all-purpose flour

1.5 cups sugar

1 cup softened butter (using margarine will screw this up. These cookies are not healthy and if you are looking for a healthy cookie, stop reading this right now)

2 eggs

2 tsp cream of tartar (spice section of grocery)

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp vanilla

0.25 tsp salt

coating mixture:

3 tbsp sugar

1.5 tsp ground cinnamon

1. Preheat oven to 400 deg. F. Combine all cookie ingredients in large mixer bowl. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed (2 to 4 minutes).

2. Make the coating: combine the 3 tbsp of sugar and the ground cinnamon in a small bowl. Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into 1-inch balls; roll in sugar-cinnamon mixture. Place them 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.

Plan on throwing away the first batch you put into the oven. Do not overcook, check the bottoms very often; they harden just a little as they cool.

The cream cheese cookies sure sound yummmie....I'm definitely going to try those. If you're not a domestic diva, just get a rolled cookie dough in the dairy case or try some of the packaged kinds from Betty Crocker. You'll find those near the cake mixes.
Yes...super easy! They're so addicting, but not time consuming....
