Looking for an easy cookie recipe?

Preferably sugar cookies? Does anyone have any suggestions?Looking for an easy cookie recipe?
Cracked Sugar Cookies








Ingredients;


1 1/4 cups white sugar


1 cup butter


3 egg yolks


1 teaspoon vanilla extract


2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour


1 teaspoon baking soda


1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar





Directions;


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Lightly grease 2 cookie sheets.


Cream together sugar and butter. Beat in egg yolks and vanilla.


Add flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar. Stir.


Form dough into walnut size balls and place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Don't flatten. Bake 10 to 11 minutes, until tops are cracked and just turning color.

sorry, but if I would you , i would go to the grocery store and buy the Pillsbury cookie dough... man they are good and so easy.... or you want them from scratch..?

INGREDIENTS


2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour


1 teaspoon baking soda


1/2 teaspoon baking powder


1 cup butter, softened


1 1/2 cups white sugar


1 egg


1 teaspoon vanilla extract














DIRECTIONS


Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.


In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients. Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, and place onto ungreased cookie sheets.


Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden. Let stand on cookie sheet two minutes before removing to cool on wire racks.
